Our client, a premium global lifestyle brand, is searching for a Key Account Manager to service their Hotels, Offices, Restaurant, Cafés clients. The purpose of the job is to generate maximum sales through the medium of securing, managing and developing accounts within the incumbents allocated area of responsibility so as to achieve the sales targets that are determined from time to time.


Key Performance Areas:

·         To negotiate and implement national group deals and arrange on-going activation at customer level to increase consumption

·         Understand end-consumer and customer needs

·         Grow the client base in this channel by identifying prospective accounts; securing and managing those accounts and developing the consumption potential of those accounts

·         Establish and maintain customer database

·         Forge and develop relationships with the relevant key personnel at customer accounts

·         Follow up orders to delivery

·         Respond to queries and complaints emanating from customer accounts and ensure that they are resolved

·         Visit account customers on a regular and systematic basis in accordance with agreed program and promote maximum product take up as well as customer awareness of latest products, varieties, specials and promotions

·         Have and demonstrate the requisite technical selling skills, product knowledge and understanding of pricing required to function effectively in this position

·         Collect intelligence on competitors products and activities

·         Develop a business plan for the allocated area of responsibility which details the activities that the incumbent will perform in order to meet or exceed the agreed sales targets

·         Maximize all opportunities to increase sales and the companys market share

·         Maintain accurate records of all sales and other activities and render such reports as may be required from time to time
