coordinating loads and journeys for suppliers and customers
developing and confirm schedules
Ensure customer requirements for shipments are to the customers specification
Tracking of shipments and sending P ODs to customers on request
Updating reports and follow up on issues weekly
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Knowledge of applicable regulations and ISO requirements
Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Accepts and signs for deliveries to the warehouse, factory, or stockroom, when required.
Reviews all shipping labels and packaging to ensure that they meet statutory regulations.
Ensures that all orders are delivered to customers in a timely fashion.
Addresses and resolves any issues with delayed shipments.
Orders supplies to replenish inventory as needed for logistics requirements.
Maintains and manages delivery schedule.
Ensures that all expenditures stay within company budget.
Ensures that all shipping and ordering deadlines are met.
Serves as point of contact for major distributors, local suppliers and assist with exports.
Knowledge of regulations for importing and exporting goods.
Reports any problems, issues, and losses to Supply Chain Manager
