Permanent position based in Elandsfontein
R18 000 per month + medicalaid and provident fund
The list of responsibilities below is not intended to be exhaustive. Other tasks or duties may be assigned from time to time that are within the capabilities of the job incumbent.
1.2.1 Liaise with Corporate Communication/Branding department in Germany for all queries
1.2.2 Coordinate the regular update and maintenance of the companys website with additor (web content management and editing system);
1.2.3 Coordinate the preparation (collating, drafting, editing, synthesizing, proofing) and distribution of the internal quarterly newsletter;
1.2.4 Implement and coordinate SharePoint. Develop, configure and maintain document libraries, perform system administrative activities and coordinate with divisions in standardizing and optimizing the way data/information is stored and retrieved;
1.2.5 Coordinate, maintain, build and update customer and competitor databases, managing information via SharePoint;
1.2.6 Prepare and coordinate the production of written marketing materials, including brochures, K-flash notices, leaflets, posters, flyers, adverts, reports, presentations etc. this can involve writing and proofreading copy, and liaising with designers and printers;
1.2.7 Control and monitor production/distribution of promotional materials and coordinate the compliance review and approval of all marketing materials. Maintain all records and logs as well as asset control;
1.2.8 Establish and maintain consistent corporate brand image and marketing communications for brand to ensure compliance with corporate identity;
1.2.9 Promote the companys brand to existing and potential customers/clients
1.2.10 Sourcing advertising opportunities and placing adverts in the press local, regional, national and specialist publications;
1.2.11 Organise and attend events such as exhibitions, conferences etc;
1.2.12 Organize, plan and coordinate social events and client entertainment functions
1.2.13 Write and distribute press releases and public communication including writing, proofing and drafting;
1.2.14 Compile Project/Contract Experience/Client references, details to be kept as current as possible;
1.2.15 Undertake general administrative duties and maintain up to date filing system
1.2.16 Manage and update the companies market volume tracker on a monthly basis

1.3.2 The Marketing Coordinator will report to the Technical Executive.
2 JOB REQUIREMENTS
2.1 EDUCATION AND TRAINING
2.1.1 The Marketing Coordinator is required to have a tertiary qualification in Marketing or similar.
2.2 TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
2.2.1 Excellent creative and written skills (have a journalism/creative writing background)
2.2.2 Good oral communication, multitasking abilities, good, initiative, detail-orientation, ability to organize and prioritize;
2.2.3 Able to research, analyze findings and interpret trends, outstanding time and project management skills;
2.2.4 Tact, discretion, and good judgment are required to maintain positive relationships with co-workers, clients, and vendors. High stress tolerance is needed to meet tight deadlines;
2.2.5 Excellent computer skills, MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS SharePoint and Additor (website content management system)
2.2.6 Self-motivated, enthusiastic, team player, good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all kinds of people;
2.2.7 Proficiency in copywriting and ability to think critically and make necessary decisions;
2.2.8 Experience with Excel and electronic media.
2.3.1 Have a minimum of two years experience in a marketing function.
