Leadership

  • Set strategy for ZA Product Development team to ensure reliable product application performance for revenue producing systems
  • Govern product/application life cycle from conception to launch to maintenance for strategic and complex products
  • Ensure innovation by building new products and enhancing current products for markets
  • Act as a role model for emerging talent to follow
  • Coach/Mentor high performers who are listed in the succession plan
  • Initiate and sponsor department and global initiatives that add value to the organisation 

General Management

  • Ensure business line infrastructure and resources are appropriately aligned
  • Manage the pipeline of projects and delivery road maps for the ZA Business
  • Provide guidance to the team across all project and development disciplines, ensuring with the EMEA Operations Development Director on strategies
  • Select, develop, manage and motivate the development of staff to ensure optimal productivity
  • Report out to stakeholders periodic status, KPIs, financials, progress, resource levels, etc.
  • Support the business through all stages of Business Case development and M&A activity
  • Nurture a strong relationship with the EITS group and upgrade computing environment when appropriate
  • Nurture a strong relationship with the Commercial Strategy Lead to ensure the product and technical roadmaps across Credit Service and Decision Analytics are aligned and compliant with the GTM process
  • Manage vendor relationships

Budget accountability 

  • Plan and implement forecasts and budgets
  • Accountability for budget and delivery
  • Be creative in terms of resources and cost when addressing business opportunities
