Treatment - Team Leader

Compass Medical Waste is seeking a motivated and hands-on Team Leader to oversee our Medical Waste Treatment Operations. The successful candidate will lead by example, working alongside the team to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant plant operations while maintaining high operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, counsel, and train team members to achieve operational objectives.
• Oversee daily treatment operations and ensure compliance with SHEQ requirements.
• Complete and manage daily, weekly, and monthly reports, checklists, and administrative functions.
• Monitor equipment performance, efficiency, and reliability, and report malfunctions or failures.
• Manage team time and attendance.
• Take responsibility for all aspects of the treatment plant and work area.
• Coordinate and oversee weekly plant cleaning activities.
• Assist with maintenance activities as required.
• Report operational deviations, incidents, and non-conformances.
• Monitor and order boiler fuel.
• Arrange recycler collections and coordinate skip and RORO services.

Minimum Requirements

• Ability to speak, read, and write English.
• Computer literacy, including basic Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
• Valid Forklift Licence.
