MAINTENANCE OFFICER

Main purpose of the position:

The maintenance and repairs of machinery and equipment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12.
• Appropriate Trade qualification (RED Seal Millwright Trade Test).
• 4 years post apprenticeship experience.

Skills:

• Excellent communication and language proficiency in Afrikaans & English.
• Good knowledge of occupational health and safety.
• Mechanisation skills.
• Physical ability to perform the work.
• Willingness to work long hours.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• The ability to function in a team as well as independently.

Responsibilities:

• Checking and repairing of machinery and equipment.
• Compliance to safety regulations.
• General administration.
